Back to Blogging!! (Part 1)

It has been so long since I have posted anything in here!  I really miss it ...  but just haven't had the time or MADE the time.  "Blogger" even updated their software while I was on hiatus!  Great improvements with loading pictures!  See .... maybe my procrastination was for a reason!

I think I will just do a few highlights to get me caught back up .... so here's a little bit of what's been happening!

Utah Trip to Support Grandpa Naylor

We took another trip to Utah the end of February because Grandpa wasn't doing so well and Kraig flew up to go to a doctor's appointment with he and Karmen.  The kids and I drove up because they were off for Spring Break -- it was good to be there for him and to see Jessica and Nate again!

Here are pictures all my beautiful kids!  Nate, Jessica, Kelsey and Jacob.  We went down to Jessica's house one night and out to dinner.  It was fun to see their cute place and of course, my furry grand cats!  Don't know why I didn't get a picture of Fritz this time but here is one with Grandma and Charlie!

Here is the Master Rummy teacher and his student.  Jacob can finally beat Grandpa ... he was taught well!

I have told so many people here in Castle Rock about the street we lived on in Kamas!  You could just pick any one of the thee names you wanted.

I loved that little country road .. I miss my peaceful walks!

Keith is receiving daily physical therapy to try and build his strength back up from his last hospital visit!  It makes me so thankful for my health.  What a challenge his is struggling with -- our hearts are with him every day!

We went out for dinner with Jessica and Nate one night and then went to a great frozen yogurt place called Spoon Me.  It has the greatest frozen yogurt and fresh ingredients.  It was a fun place!

Jess and Kelsey thought it would be fun for Nate to take a "jumping" picture of them -- Jessica twisted her ankle and suffered for quite a while after that night.  A little higher than they thought!

Every Day is Closer to Girl's Camp -- June 23rd!!

My life is getting more and more hectic as we get closer to Girl's Camp.  I am the Stake Camp Director for our church this year and in charge of helping to set up a whole new camp we bought just south of Pueblo Colorado ... about 2 hours from here.  It is a huge challenge but with all the help I have it is moving right along.

Here is a "no sew" bag I found on the Internet that you make from a t-shirt.  A cute idea but don't think we are going to use it.  Instead the Girl's thought that making Bird Houses to leave at our down at our new camp.  Sounds like fun too!

Here's some pictures of our new 100-acre Girl's Camp in progress.  We share it with 9 other "Stakes" in the Denver region who helped to buy and finance it.  We went down all day Saturday and it is still a muddy mess!  But the work is continuing constantly with the better weather so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be done!

The main Pavilion that will seat 300 ... so if it rains ... we're set!

Inside the Pavilion.  There will even be a sound system with an i-pod dock so you can bring your own stuff.

Upstairs to the loft -- the nurse is going to be up here and we can store supplies!

I went down with the "cooking" crew and after we checked out the kitchen progress we moved about a hundred piles of wood -- well it felt like a hundred!!

There are 8 different little campsites that can hold about 25-30 girls.  Each has it's own shelter and there is a bathroom between each little camp with FLUSHING toilets!!

Another huge group of Youth are going up this Saturday again to help out! It's a beautiful place but lots of work left to do before June!!!
