Well, I finally went into my blog tonight to create a new post and it was all messed up! Evidently the background that I had used from another source "expired" or some stupid thing and I had to change to a whole new template!
So I have a new look ... whether I wanted it or not ... and there are no new pictures because I just spent hours fiddling with the new background!

I know ... I know ...
It HAS been a long time since I have blogged anything that has been going on with the Naylors! But so much has been GOING ON that I haven't had TIME to blog! I guess that is a good thing!
Going to try and catch up a bit ... mostly so when I print this year's blog to a book, nothing memorable will have been left out! I'll start with the most recent and continue on sooooo .... keep checking back and you'll see how CRAZY our fun life has been so far this summer!
Last year we lost all our beloved animals to sickness or creatures higher up on the food chain. We have been toying with the idea of getting another cat, however, Kraig wasn't so keen on the idea. But one day, Kelsey and her boyfriend Stephen, found this sweet little ball of fur waiting to be adopted at Petsmart. It was love at first sight and we called Dad from the pet store and even agreed to name him Kobe since the Lakers had just won the championship the night before! How could he say no?

Our New Little Orange "Kobe"
(To Honor the Laker's Win & To Appease Dad)

Staining the Deck Project
(Between Rain Storms over July 4th Weekend)
We spent 3 days sanding and staining both our top and bottom decks. Took WAY more time and WAY more stain than originally anticipated but the outcome was fantastic! Bought new plants and potted them in fun, brightly-colored pots. A butterfly came today and landed on my newly potted Dahlia -- I take that as a sign that even he approves of the bright colors and new plants. Like Kraig said last night, now we just have to make the time to sit out there and enjoy it!
