Jacob came home from football practice with an giant bruise on his forearm and a really sore knee from being clipped. Another kid was taken away by ambulance for a fractured foot. WHY or WHY do boys have to play football!!! We're suppose to go camping and hiking tomorrow!!

I know how you feel...I used to feel that way with all my boys (well and my girls with soccer & volleyball)and the sports they played. Football & hockey were the most brutal. I used to think what kind of mom encourages her boys to go get beat?! But they loved it and I loved watching them play it. Twisted, but hey, there are worse things to be doing with their time! Hang in there. Have fun camping!
