When I have any spare time, I love to go out and putter in my garden. I am still amazed how all my flowers look dead in the winter, all covered with "feet" of snow and then they all come back to life again in the spring. A little sun and water and it's instant life around here! My sanctuary!
These are pictures of my Peonies that I took for my Mom.
Wish I could post the wonderful smell right along with them!

I love to see what you're busy hands are doing. When you were relief society president I loved seeing how willing you were to try things. I remember the first time you really delved into food storage. The time you made whole wheat bread, and the time you started subing the powdered milk....
People love to see you get excited about things, and your humility makes us all want to give things a try too!
Oh my goodness! How beautiful!! I LOVE those peonies. Are they hard to maintain? This is such a great hobby. I've always wanted to be able to maintain a beautiful garden but it seems like such a huge task I don't know if I'm up to it yet.
They all look so happy!! Our little hummingbird would love to live in your garden wonderland! I love how you always have fresh flowers in the house in all your little vases - I know I got my green thumb from you, however I need your help with my shamrock - it's getting kind of sad and I can see it's root ball things. (that sounded weird) Do you think I should replant it?
