Castle View High School Homecoming Game
Jacob is part of the Castle View High School Marching Band again this year. Here are just a few seconds of videos of him playing and also some pictures. I didn't record very much because then they are to "big" to post on my blog but this gives you just a snippet of what a talented young man he is ... handsome too!
Rockies vs. Dodgers Game
It was a beautiful night for a game ... and we had great seats! I didn't even get hit with a foul ball this time! (Hey, bet you didn't know that I pitched for the Rockies, did ya?)
BYU vs. Air Force Game
Here is the funny part ... forgot my camera at home for the game! BUMMER! But it was so much fun because my friend Debbie Wagstaff and some of her family came to see it. They are all die-hard BYU fans and only THEY are crazy enough to make that drive for one short night!!! Karl couldn't come because his Dad was in the hospital, he was sorely missed, but we all had a fun time anyway.
(l-r) Trevor and his new bride Nicole, Nathan (Jacob's BFF Growing Up),
Daniel (just home from a mission) and Debbie
They were able to get up Sunday and go to church with us before they hit the long road trip home.
Debbie made sandwiches for the road and I made a fun "omelete roll" I have been wanting to try. You bake the egg mixture in the oven on a cookie sheet with parchment, put all the goodies inside and roll it up, then slice it like a cinnamon roll. It was GREAT!
Hopefully they will come back again when Karl can come and they can stay longer!

Jacob is good! Love the videos - Nate and I want to see him in person before the season is over.
So, when you said you were going to the gym all those times you were really heading over to the stadium for pitching practice eh? Have you ever seen anyone spell it exactly the same?
Fun that the Wagstaffs got to come out for a second. That omelet roll looks really good. Could you forward that recipe on over?
