Family Fun in Utah

Made a quick trip to Utah (the end of February) to be with all the "Naylor" side of the family. We had planned a mini-reunion for quite a while when suddenly Grandpa Keith Naylor got sick and had to go into the hospital for a few days. He had just got out a couple of days before everyone got there but was looking pretty spiffy by Sunday when we all gathered at their house to share a meal and take some family pictures.

Here's Grandma and Grandpa holding their youngest great-grandchild, Austin.

And pictured here with ALL the great-grandchildren minus Cecelia -- she wasn't into picture-taking as you can tell by the picture below!

  • Brody & Mason (Back Row)
  • Datan, Donnivan, Cecelia, Austin and Andrew
  • (Left to Right)

  • Kraig's Sister Koreen & her daughter, Jenny
  • Mason Boyack (Koreen's Grandson)
  • Anthony Sandoval and Austin (Jenny's baby)
  • Handsome hunk of a husband of mine -- Kraig Naylor

Kraig and his oldest sister, Koreen. Kristy (his younger sister) came later after she got off work but we forgot to get pictures of the three of them together! Blast!!!

The coats and the shoes got a bit out of control! Grandma did real good to put up with the constant clutter at the front door. I loved the picture of the big and little boots!

Of course we had to have the Winter Olympics playing at various times while everyone was there. Some fantastic skiing and skating. However, almost full-grown adults came up with their own version of an Olympic event while hanging out. It all started with one of the grandbabies magnet puzzles. In this Olympic event, the athlete has to fish with the little magnetic pole, getting all the pieces out of the puzzle and back in to break the previous record. What made it all the funnier, was Jason Boyack's Olympic commentary! It think my Jacob was the Gold Medalist in the event!

All of Keith and Karmen's Grandchildren!

All the Grandchildren with the significant others!

We even got some pictures of the whole group. Jenny took them because she has a good camera with a timer so we'll have to get those from her.

We spent the day out and Kim and Koreen's place and everyone had a blast snowmobiling. Here is Kelsey all ready to go for a ride. It was a great day ... not too cold.

Jacob spent hours out there just pulling Brody around on the snowboard.

They talked Uncle Kim into bringing out the back-hoe and scooping a big pile of snow to make a jump -- then the real fun began. Brody was really good at jumping -- Jacob just liked to be the driver.

Jenny's husband, Matt, accidentally misjudged his ability to stop his machine and ran into the side of Kim's truck. As a result, they spent a good portion of the day fixing the snowmobile. Mason is getting warm in the barn before he heads out again.

Nate, Jessica's husband, had fun too! However, he is a bit of a speedster! It made me nervous to watch him speed off 90-miles an hour!!! (Well, it seemed like he was going that fast!)

Wish I would have taken some pictures of Kim and Koreen's place. Kim built a huge barn on their property up in Woodland, Utah, quite a few years ago and has since added a beautiful loft apartment inside of it. It's a great place for them to escape Orange County, California and for their kids and grandkids to come and play in the country!

We all had a GREAT time ... even Austin the California Snow Baby!!!
